Years Later

How the bloody hell did this happen? Here I am, years later, a mere "young adult" straddling the line of Drowning in School Loans and Trying to Make a Name for Myself. Whatever the fuck that means...

Rather than my dabble in the world of fashion in college, I'm here now with a disgusting intrigue in all things beauty. Seriously, you should see the amount of beauty products I have hoarded in the depths of my Ikea Alex drawers. Typical.

Although I'm not yet a Sephora Rouge Member -- shocking, I know -- I'd have to say I have a firm ass grasp on what the fuck my skin needs and I'm extraordinarily happy to say that my winged eyeliner skills are above and beyond.

Anyways, as I sit here searching for a new job in the confines of the best city in the world -- New York, to be exact -- I can't help but wonder where I'll end up. Sitting in a cubicle, suffering through mindless Word documents (or worse, Excel) sounds like a death sentence. I know I have more mental fortitude than your average millennial. And I know I will eventually find myself weaving in and out of groups of assholes all over the city, leaving behind a trail of dust on my way to bigger and better things.

But, until then, here's some shit I've been up to.

SM is not dead!

Hello? Y'all still here?

Sigh. I've been bad. Very, very bad. But, alas, here I am! And I intend to stay.

Here's what's been inspiring me lately. Check out more on my Pinterest.

Aimee

Prepping For Fashion Week

In no way am I the slightest bit close to attending New York Fashion Week, or any Fashion Week for that matter, but I can still pretend. Here's what you need to survive, a la Aimee.

Sue Me

Oh, dear... I just can't stay away!

After resurfacing on many old blogs I used to drool over, my passion for fashion (ew) has officially made a comeback and I just can't bear it any longer. So, it's official -- I'm back!

Do you care? Probably not. But get ready for some new fashion finds and things I love up on this lovely little blog I've so sadly deserted over the last year.

Winter Wonderland

Wish I could look this awesome while trekking through the winter snow.

Instead I'm trying not to trip over my own boot cladded feet while balancing my hot cocoa and my purse.
Ah, well.

What Is Gravity?

Not that this editorial defies it, but gravity is hard to mess with. Basically, this chick knows how to model. I love the idea of having editorials flipped, flopped, freaking fropped. Wait, what?

If you need me, I'll be at yoga.

Blondes Have More Fun

I'll admit it, I'm totally psyched to see Kate Hudson back on her grind. She looks flawless on the October cover of Harper's Bazaar.

Mini MAC Goodness

I need, need, need this Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC bag. I mean, how much more perfect could a shoulder bag be?

Just Keep Swimming

The line between art and fashion is becoming smaller and smaller as time passes and I can't say I hate it. Fashion is art, especially when you're looking at Haute Couture and the like.

I remember watching an old episode from season who knows of America's Next Top Model wherein each model had to do her thing under water and it did not look easy, so I especially adore this set of photos taken by Ilse Moore to showcase South African designer Joel Janse Van Vurren's Spring/Summer collection.

Art or fashion? Or both?
