In the News

H&M is up to it's old tricks again...
Maison Martin Margiela is a French fashion house created in 1988 that has always followed its own path, toying with fashion norms and using deconstruction and transformation to create new staples. The further you step away from the conventional fashion framework, the closer you come to understanding what the brand is all about.
The collection in collaboration with H&M will be released on November 15th in select stores across the world, offering clothes and accessories for both men and women.

So, people, what are your opinions of this collaboration? Should be pretty interesting. Hopefully more sneak peaks will be available soon!

Oh, sweet sweet collaborations. Welcome H&M for Water, where 2% of the sales from this collection will go to projects to support sunstainable water resources for the environment. So when you're at the store and debating whether or not your purchase will burn a hole in your wallet, just remember that it's for the greater good, people!

Indego Africa for J Crew

I love collaborations, especially when it's for a great cause.  J Crew has paired with Indego Africa, a nonprofit enterprise that allows women in Rwanda to sell their handcrafted pieces all over the world. Each bracelet is woven from locally sourced Dutch wax cloth and signed by the artist. I'll take 'em all!

Available in three colors that will add a pop of fun to any outfit.

Jason Wu for Target

We've all heard about the wonderful collaboration that is Jason Wu for Target, and you've also probably seen the majority of the collection.

So here I present to you some of the pretty advertisements. I love how the lines and patterns of the dresses seem to be spilling out into the blank space around her.

Are you planning on picking up some pieces from the collection?

Best Dressed: Emma Roberts

Many A-list celebrities attended the Versace for H&M fashion show draped in fabulous frocks and colorful get ups. Included on that list was Emma Roberts of course wearing clothing from the newly launched collaboration.  The brightly patterned bustier looked great on Emma's thin frame and the matching pants just shoot the entire outfit into the A+ range.

Typical Versace

Hell yes I've always wanted people to look at my crotch and see a picturesque place of relaxation.

In case you haven't heard, Versace for H&M is almost here! The collection arrives in select stores November 17. The patterns are absolutely crazy and I couldn't love them more. Here are some more pieces I would love love love to add to my closet.

Here is what I'm already planning to wear the joyous day of December the 25th:

The Row x TOMS

My phase of wearing slippers in public ended in high school. Here's my question: do I want to bring back the slipper phase?

It's clear that TOMS shoes are getting more and more popular. They're available in an arrange of colors, even glitter. The Row for TOMS Shoes are really quite cool looking, and sound so comfortable - cashmere and italian wool. Talk about a treat for your feet! And it is for an excellent cause (for every pair of The Row x TOMS shoe sold, a child in need will receive a new pair of shoes).

When in college I'm all about comfort, so should I give these puppies a try?
Have you given in to the trend?

That studded dress needs to be in my closet now! I'm definitely going to be running to H&M to get in the front of lines. Are you?
