Golden Globes
Ah, The Golden Globes. Another awards show where the men looked dapper (Mark Wahlberg, helloooo) and of course the women donned some gorgeous dresses. But what do I know about mens fashion? Not much. So here are my favorite picks for the ladies.
Emma Roberts
Claire Danes
Charlize Theron
Rooney Mara
Kristen Wiig
Lea Michelle
And the overall winning look of the night, I think, was Jessica Alba in Gucci. Her hair, her makeup, her golden skin. She looked amazing.

Best Dressed: Street Style
As soon as I saw this street style photo, I knew it had to take the spot for this week's Best Dressed. The hue of her dress pops on her skin tone beautifully and the Balenciaga boots make the entire ensamble pretty rockin.

Best Dressed: Emma Roberts
Many A-list celebrities attended the Versace for H&M fashion show draped in fabulous frocks and colorful get ups. Included on that list was Emma Roberts of course wearing clothing from the newly launched collaboration. The brightly patterned bustier looked great on Emma's thin frame and the matching pants just shoot the entire outfit into the A+ range.

Best Dressed: Amanda Seyfried
HOLY BLUE SHINY SUIT.
I've never been more in love with a starlet working the menswear trend. Amanda Seyfried's bold choice for a blue short suit turned out perfectly. And come to find out, the suit is from H&M. Makes me fall in love all over again.

Best Dressed: Street Style
Texture, texture, texture!
This chica looks gorgeous in a well-fitting pair of tweed slacks and a fun, printed shirt. Sure, the colors may clash to some but I see this as a perfect look for fall. I'm also loving her cropped curly hair and bright lipstick that pops against the basic colors of her outfit.

Best Dressed: Courtin-Clarins Sisters
Best Dressed double whammy!
Virginie Courtin-Clarins and Claire Courtin-Clarins are gorgeous in matchy blue Louis Vuitton floral dresses. The blue color scheme looks brilliant paired up with their blonde locks.
I prefer the print on Virginie's dress on the left, but I can't get over Claire's choice of hat, bright bag and Doc Marten's.

Best Dressed: Paris Street Style
It's that time of the year again and layer after layer are being forced upon us. If you do it right, you'll look fabulously chic just like this lovely lady on the streets of Paris. Oversized but well-fitting tweed pants look great paired with a cropped black blazer over a white button-down. Seems fairly bland but she does it with great accessories and tailoring.

Best Dressed: Keira Knightley
New to the Best Dressed list is actress Keira Knightley in a nude Valentino backless dress. I wish I had pictures of the other side of the dress and assess it from there as well, but we'll have to base this week off of this lovely image alone.
It's refreshing to see something frilly and lacy that doesn't look like it was pulled from Grandma's closet. The hemline has a lot to do with the modern take on the style. Keira rocks the nude lace with a pair of Miu Miu heels.

Best Dressed: Street Style
This week's Best Dressed is a day late due to the inevitable seasonal flu I've caught. How lovely, right?
Now, onto the fashion!
You may or may not know that nothing makes me happier than a printed dress with a leather jacket to add some spunk. Here is Andrea wearing a Topshop dress, Max Magasine jacket and simple Urban Outfitters shoes.
I'm also loving that Andrea makes this season's huge trend of slicked-back hair work off the runway.

Best Dressed: Street Style
Seeing this chica in a stylish yellow dress made me immensely happy. I'm declaring this as my sunshine for the day as this week has so far been rainy and gloomy.
I love the bright dress paired with the black accessories - quilted purse, thick belt and floppy boots. The accessories turn this dress into a great early fall piece.
And those sunglasses? I'm in love.

Best Dressed: Beyonce
Though I missed the VMAs due to power outages (thanks, Irene...), I certainly got a recap of all the fashions on the red carpet. This weeks Best Dressed really stood out to me.
Beyonce has sported some serious fashion in the past, but she looked absolutely stunning at this year's VMAs. This Lanvin gown would looks amazing on Beyonce; it suits her skin color, hair color and body.
Speaking of body, she's totally preggers! I am so happy for her and her hubby. Nothing makes a woman prettier than a pregnant glow. Not that Beyonce needs anything in her favor to make her more beautiful than she already is. Congratulations to the happy couple.
She's even got the pregnant-belly pose. Super cute!

Best Dressed: Street Style
I know I've been posting quite a bit about A/W collections, but it is indeed still summer! Try pairing a brightly colored floral dress with a belt at the waist, some natural locks, and cute flats for a simple summer outfit. And who knows? You might just end up here.
And bonus points if you're riding a bike! Yay for exercise and being able to keep your Britney in your dress while riding! Let's hope.

Best Dressed: Street Style
Aimee Song is this week's Best Dressed, and not just because she has the best name around. She is the mastermind behind the blog Song of Style and has impeccable taste in clothing.
Looking pulled together and flirty in a white pleated skirt, denim shirt, magenta sweater, leopard wedges and of course a gorgeous arm party, I couldn't help but to have Aimee as my first ever Street Style edition of Best Dressed.

Bessed Dressed: Anja Rubik
The perfect late-summer outfit is light, breezy and effortless. Anja Rubik goes for a natural palette in Rick Owens jacket, Helmut Lang shirt, Chloé skirt, Lanvin shoes, Proenza Schouler bag, and Paul Smith sunglasses. Her blonde locks are perfectly disheveled to match her laid-back look.
This choice reminds me a bit of last week's Best Dressed, but the trend we see here is something that simply works perfectly for this time of year. Layer on the light fabrics.

Best Dressed: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Happy Friday! You know what that means... here's this weeks Best Dressed!
Rosie Huntingon-Whitely's closet must be insane. The girl has some impecable street style and never fails to look absolutely beautiful. Case in point: Rosie out and about in New York in a belted mint skirt, simple crop top and Chloe accessories. Those shoes are seriously to die for!

Best Dressed: Miranda Kerr
Power couple alert! The gorgeous Miranda Kerr and equally gorgeous hubby Orlando Bloom dressed up for the Costume Institute Gala, an annual ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. (Um, why wasn't I invited?)
Orlando looks sharp in a well-fitting black tux. Miranda looks flirty and glamorous in a white tutu-esque dress and some amazing heels. (If you know who makes the dress and heels, let me know please!)

Best Dressed: Emma Stone
Not many people with fire-engine red hair can pull off red colors, but that is most certainly not the case for Emma Stone. Paired with a bright lip and a pair of nude heels, she sported a look from Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 collection at the "Friends With Benefits" premiere in NY.
Hey Emma, I'll be your fwb if the benefits include raiding your closet!

Also... I couldn't help but notice a definite runner up for this week's Best Dressed, Jamie Chung! She looks radiant in a fur vest, LBD, and a blogger favorite, JS Dany's! Gorgeous.

Best Dressed: The Olsens
So I'm thinking that since I spend so much time looking at pretty people on the interwebs, I'm going to narrow down my favorite outfits and select who I think is the Best Dressed of the week. This is the first edition and I am proud to present none other than the Olsen twins.
In honor of the new collection of handbags for their line The Row, the twins threw a launch party at Barney's New York.
Their outfits compliment their blonde locks and gorgeous tans. Mary-Kate kept it simple with blue hues and Ashley wowed in a shimmering sequin printed dress. Both girls had envious arm parties going on and carried two bags from their collection.
