There's A Snake On My Shoe

Neutral mixed with neon adds that certain je ne sais quoi, don't you think? And then you go for a third detail - snakeskin - and your mind is just blown.

Not sure if I would ever wear these, but I can definitely see myself purchasing them only to have them on display in my bedroom for drooling purposes.

The price tag for all that and a bag of chips is even better: $67

Sneaky Wedges

Steve Madden's take on the wedge sneakers a la Isabel Marant. I'm totally digging the light pink accents. And ringing in just above $100, I'd say these babies are a steal.

Cheap Alternative: Eyewear Edition

Everyone loves a great pair of sunglasses that shield the sun's rays, keep unwanted attention away, yet still look totally cute.

Nicole Richie - unknown sunnies, but they're gorgeous!
(see more pics here)

Try these instead - Calico Roxi Shades (also available in brown)

Same general shape, color, and size. And only $12.00! I'd call that a steal.

Best Thing Since a LOAF of Bread

Ha.. Haha! My title cracks me the eff up. I'm talking about loafers here, people!

Ever since I saw these on Leandra, I can't help but lust over them! They aren't too man-repelling, are they? Regardless, I love them.

There have been loads of designers who've included these lovely slippers/loafers into their collections:

Christian Louboutin, $1,195
Stubbs & Wootton, $395

For cheaper alternatives, check out these pups:

Jeffery Campell, $152

Steve Madden, $129.95

ASOS, $64.63

Will you be giving in to the casual trend?

Cheap Alternatives: the Birkin

"I want to be rich, and I want lots of money..."
Lily Allen's "The Fear" is definitely floating about in my head at the moment.

We've all seen the coveted Hermes Birkin bag in photographs, hanging delicately on the arms of Victoria Beckham, Rachel Zoe, and the Kardashian sisters. The structure, the material, the metal hardware... Whether it's a neutral color to match everything or a bright, zesty color to make any outfit pop, it's hard to go against the following statement: it's a beauty.

And now it can be yours! Well, not really. But we can pretend, right?

Aldo offers some really great deals on some lovely looking structured bags that seem to have been designed with Birkin in mind. You won't find the amazingness that IS Birkin, obviously, but these are a great and (much) cheaper alternative to a pretty, structured bag.

Find (and BUY!) them here.
