day 23: something you crave for a lot -
just some genuine, from the heart TLC. nothing beats some good ol' tender love and care! even when you say you want to be left alone, all you really want is something to be there, just someone there to listen, to care about you, to stand by you. through the ups and the downs. no matter what, you can never have too much TLC.

thank you for raising me to be independent and take care of myself. you've taught me everything i've ever needed to know. you've taught me how to love, which i extend every day to the people in my life. you've taught me to stand up for myself, which sometimes backfires when you guys nag at me. you've taught me how to be "street smart," which has come in handy more than you could ever know. and most importantly, you've taught me how to be strong and never give up. if you didn't, i wouldn't be here right now. so thank you, from the bottom of my heart. i love you both and i always will.
